Meeting
12:50-1:25 Internet Marketing/Online Giving,
Martin Weinberg,
V.P. Digital Strategy, Ecity Interactive, Phila., PA
Do you know how effective
your e-solicitation campaigns are? Penn Vet is the subject of this case study on
effective e-solicitation campaigns. Two email campaigns will be discussed
including proper messaging and design, tracking and analysis of ‘open’ and ‘click’
rates and the ever-important ‘abandonment’ rate and its implications. Is your online giving page easy to
navigate? These are the topics that will
be explored.
Martin Weinberg has been helping companies
connect online with their audience since the web began. At Ensoniq, Martin was
one of the first corporate webmasters in the country. There he helped the
company make the transition to digital information, enhancing the flow of
knowledge within the company, and from the company to the outside world.
As
Director of Broadcast Email for Cahners Business Information, he created the
largest B2B email marketing effort in the industry at the time. He has also
lectured at Temple University on web strategies, and chaired the 4th Annual
Email Marketing Strategies Conference. His websites have been recognized by
national and regional awards, and his social media campaign for Comcast’s
ActivityTV earned a place on the CableFAX Digital Hot List. In the emerging
world of social media, Martin was invited to speak at a panel discussion on
“Social Media and eCommerce” by the Luxury Market Council, and his social media
campaign for Comcast’s ActivityTV earned a place on the CableFAX Digital Hot
List in 2009. www.ecityinteractive.com
