Troy Johnson

While I'm new to my present role, having joined Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine as Director of Communications & Marketing in June 2025, I've held leadership positions in higher education public relations and marketing for nearly 20 years. I have served in a variety of roles within the Auburn University System since 2008, including as Executive Director of the University Office of Communications at Auburn University at Montgomery for nearly seven years and as Director of Communications & Marketing for Auburn University's Harbert College of Business from 2013-2018. I have earned Senior Practitioner recognition from the Southern Public Relations Federation (2019), and am a past member of the Public Relations Council of Alabama's state board of directors and a past president of its Capital City chapter.
